Do I have to put in my last years income amount, and if not can I continue with the rest of the tax return?

It may seem a burden at first, but it is required from Inland Revenue on a regular tax return to complete some details of your previous tax return, like if a return was submitted, where it was submitted and what the income declared in the return was. As the return requires the information it is advisable to include the information. However if you do not have the information at hand, the TaxTim system will not prevent you from continuing with the rest of the tax questions. You can always go back to the question and complete the information when you have it ready.
