No tax number

I paid tax since 2009 but never had a tax number or any returns how does it work?

Not sure how you managed to pay tax without a tax number, because Inland Revenue will have no reference to allocate your tax payments to.

We advise you contact Inland Revenue's customer care number 062-2091645/4 and ask if you have a tax number. If not then you will need to apply/register as a taxpayer. Please see our blog/article on how to register.
